Keep Close
Psalms 100:1–5
“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
God is the greatest! He is simple the best! He is faithful and worthy of our praise and worship more than anything else including our very selves. We belong to Him and He is all good and forever loving. I find comfort in such an idea, and I am glad it is real, that The Creator of all the vast universe is interested in having a relationship with me, and a very close one at that, in fact it gives Him great pleasure, He is our Father, He is my Father, and He is with me. Let us keep close to Him, for in righteousness and in His presence we find true joy. He said to us, “If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete (John 15:10-11).”
