Habakkuk & The Problem of Evil

Habakkuk 1:3-4

"Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted."

Given the dizzying complexity of life, we are simply in no position to judge that God has no good reason for permitting some instance of suffering to afflict our lives or the lives of others. Does it stop at that though? I think not. Anyway,

Isaiah 55:8

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, declares the LORD."
